Event 1 : 5km Senior Championship Entry fee £18
(Senior Grand Prix) (Swim England Qualifier, ages 16, 17/18 and 19+)
Cut-off time of 90 minutes applies
Entrants must be aged 16 or over

(Junior Grand Prix) (Swim England Qualifier, ages 12 and 13)
Cut-off time of 60 minutes applies

Entries
Wetsuits can be hired via a link to our partner supplier’s website (WrightSport). All entrants (including relay teams) must be members of SASA or another FINA-affiliated national body.
Notes
There are various activities and a café at the venue
Ages as at 31st December 2019 will apply
In addition, the minimum entry for open water conditions is 10 years, age on day (Scottish Swimming Rule)
Attendance at briefings is compulsory
Times above are approximate and are subject to change on the day
Teams for mixed relay race are 2 male and 2 female. Minimum age 11 years
Events are open to swimmers from SASA, ASA, WASA or any other FINA affiliated governing body
Entry is open to swimmers who are not currently members of SASA or another governing body providing they submit an application for temporary membership and pay and additional fee of £10
For each category, medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. In addition the overall fasted Midland District Swimmer in each category will be awarded the Midland District Championship medal
Grand Prix Points will be awarded on one GP event for each swimmer, for highest placing in accordance with GP rules
Conditions
The organising committee reserves the right not to accept entries from swimmers who they believe may not be capable of completing the event
Competitors must wear swimming caps provided
Competitors still swimming on the expiry of the cut off times will be required to leave the water without completing the race
The promoter, or any affiliated body cannot be responsible for any loss or damages to personal belongings.
I understand that in the event of my retiring during the race safety crews will use all means necessary to assist me into the safety craft
I understand that entry fees including temporary membership fees are non refundable once my entry has been accepted
I understand that while steps will be taken to ensure that the water quality for the event is acceptable, there remains a small risk from water borne diseases and infections in any open water event and that if participants feel unwell after completing they should see their GP.
