Swimmers from SASA Midland District gave it their all at this years Scottish National Open Championships. The event which ran from Thursday 27th June to Sunday 30th June 2019 at Aberdeen Sports Village saw athletes from across the country and further afield. 4 Midland district clubs were represented at the championships; St Thomas, Dundee City Aquatics, Monifieth & Perth City Swim Club.
Across the week swimmers from Midlands achieved 40 individual final swims and brought home 12 medals, Stephen Milne won the Eileen Adams Trophy for his performance in the 200m & 400m Freestyle events and St Thomas finished in 8th place with 199.5 points closely followed by Perth City Swim club in 9th place with 186 points.
